Frequently Asked Questions
🐾 Can I bring my dog/cat/ferret/lizard/fish?
Yes! Well-behaved animals are welcome on site.
-
All animals must be kept on a 2 metre lead (no retractable leads, please).
-
While we don't have a dog walk on site, straight out of the gate is plenty of places to explore.
-
Please be respectful of other guests and always clean up after your pets.
-
Limit of 3 pets per pitch.
🔥 Are campfires and BBQs allowed?
Yes – with care! To protect the local moorland and reduce fire risk:
-
Fires and BBQs must be raised off the ground.
-
Bring your own fire bowl with legs.
-
Bricks are available at reception to raise your barbecue off the ground, no disposable barbecues please!
-
Always keep fires attended and dispose of ashes safely.
-
During very hot & dry periods we may need to ban fires due to safety risks.
Do I need to book ahead?
No - walk ins are more than welcome, during busy times such as weekends and holidays we'd recommend booking in advance!
Are your pitches level?
The trade off for incredible views is being on a hill, our hardstanding pitches our level and while there are flatter areas for our field pitches (they're first come, first served!), we'd always recommend bringing your chocks to level out if you're in a camper!
I'm travelling alone, is there a discount?
Yes! We offer a solo traveller discount of £5 off per night, you can add this at checkout.
