Located in a peaceful corner of the West Country, Moor Wood Campsite is perfectly positioned for those wanting to immerse themselves in the rich natural beauty and local charm of West Somerset, North Devon, and Exmoor National Park. 

Just a short journey from the popular coastal town of Minehead – often referred to as The Gateway to Exmoor – our campsite offers easy access to a stunning variety of landscapes. From the wild, heather-covered moorlands of Exmoor to the dramatic North Devon coastline, the area is a paradise for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers alike.

Exmoor National Park

One of the UK’s most unspoilt National Parks, Exmoor is known for its rolling hills, deep wooded valleys, and open moorland. Home to iconic wildlife such as red deer and Exmoor ponies, it’s a fantastic location for hiking, stargazing, and birdwatching. The park also holds International Dark Sky Reserve status, making it ideal for astronomy enthusiasts.

Minehead
