
Terms and Conditions - Moor Wood Campsite
1. Booking and Payment

Bookings must be made by a person aged 18 or over.

Families, couples, and responsible groups are all welcome. We can't accommodate bookings from unaccompanied under-18s.

A 15% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with the full remaining balance payable 28 days before arrival.

Bookings are non-transferable without prior approval.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 28 days before the arrival date will receive a full balance refund less the 15% non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations made less than 28 days before arrival are non-refundable.
-
In the unlikely event we must cancel your booking (e.g. due to extreme weather or site safety issues), a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
3. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in: between 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Check-out: by 11:00 AM
-
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible, ask us on the day!
4. Campsite Rules
-
Music is welcome but please consider your fellow campers, keep the noise down between 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM – please respect fellow campers and the natural setting.

Children must be supervised at all times, especially in the facilities block, woodland, or communal fire areas.
-
We are a low-impact site: please leave no trace and respect wildlife and plant life.

No cutting of trees for firewood.

Campfires are allowed in designated fire bowls raised off the ground. Never leave a fire unattended.
-
During very hot/dry weather periods we may have to ban fires to protect the local area.
-
BBQs are allowed if raised off the ground. No disposable BBQs. Please follow safety guidelines and dispose of ashes responsibly.
5. Dogs and Pets

Well-behaved dogs and pets are welcome! Maximum 3 dogs per pitch unless by prior agreement.

Dogs must be kept on a 2 metre lead and under control at all times on site.

Please clean up after your dog and dispose of waste.
-
Pets must not be left unsupervised on site.
-
Noise from pets must be kept to a minimum for the comfort of all guests.
6. Facilities and Waste

We provide toilets, showers and washing up facilities.
-
Drinking water points are available around the site.
-
Recycling and general waste bins are provided – please separate waste accordingly.

Chemical toilet disposal is available.
7. Behaviour and Safety

We are a relaxed, nature-based site and ask all guests to be respectful of others and the environment.

Anti-social behaviour, loud music, or excessive noise will not be tolerated.

Vehicles are allowed to be parked by your pitch, for everyone's safety there is a 5mph speed limit. Vehicles are only to be driven entering/leaving site. There is no vehicle movement between 10PM and 6AM.

The use of drones, fireworks, or Chinese lanterns is strictly prohibited for safety and wildlife protection.
8. Liability and Risk

Guests enter and use the site at their own risk. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

Please take care on uneven ground, in wet weather, or near natural hazards.

The campsite accepts no liability for accidents unless caused by our negligence.
9. Emergencies and Contact

In an emergency, please see emergency contact details on the information board or dial 999.

First aid supplies are available at reception.
-
Fire meeting point is located by the entrance to the site.
10. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect only necessary personal data to manage your booking and stay.
-
Your data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
